Welcome to RHES

Richmond Hill Elementary School is located in south Bryan County near Savannah, Georgia. The school was completed in August of 2009 just in time for the new school year to begin. RHES is Richmond Hill's second and third-grade school serving over 700 students! Our students attend activity classes each week and receive instruction in Art, Music, Physical Eduction, and STEAM. Through

out the school year our students have many learning opportunities through the different events and programs we offer at RHES. We have a very active PTSO which provides support through fundraising and the Volunteer Program. Our mission at RHES is to provide an educational environment where all students may attain the knowledge and skills for full participation in the 21st century. Belief Statements

*Every student should be provided with the necessary skills to be a productive citizen in a technological society.
*Student and teacher expectations should be high.

🎉🏆 Congratulations to our Carver Science Olympiad Team for placing 🥇 1st Place at the 2026 Savannah Regional Elementary Science Olympiad Competition! 🔬✨

Because of their outstanding performance, they advanced to the State Competition at Kennesaw State University, competing against 63 elementary schools from across Georgia! What an incredible honor to attend the state competition FOUR years in a row! 💙💛

Today's Special Field Day was truly a day to remember!💛

Laughter, teamwork, big smiles, and so many moments of joy filled the day as our students jumped, played, cheered each other on, and celebrated every success—big and small.

Today we got to celebrate our 3rd grade GATE students, and we couldn’t be more proud of this incredible group! 💛

A special shoutout to Orion and Elias for being named team winners—what an outstanding achievement!

Congratulations as well to Angela, Jacob, Orion, Elias, Oliver, Jaeseong, Andrew, Graham, and Jonathan for placing in the *top 50%* and earning National Honorable Mention honors.

These students competed against 43,915 students from 855 schools across the United States—an incredible accomplishment that reflects their hard work, dedication, and talent.
