These two photos were taken four years apart, and they tell a pretty special story.

Four years ago, AOIC Evans made a lasting impression on this young girl, who was beyond excited to meet a real-life firefighter. This summer, at our Summer Series, they had the chance to recreate that special moment.

A lot has changed over the years, but one thing hasn't: Evans' passion for serving our community and the genuine care she shows every person she meets.

The impact of those small moments can last a lifetime. Community is built one conversation, one smile, and one connection at a time.

Our RHFD Summer Series gives kids a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a firefighter. Today, over 20 local children got an up-close look at life in fire service, explored the station, learned important fire safety tips, and even got to cool off with a little splash pad fun. ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ’ฆ

๐Ÿ’ฆ We love spending time with our community, helping the next generation learn about fire safety and have a little fun along the way! โค๏ธ๐Ÿš’
