As 2024 comes to a close, we’re reflecting on an incredible year of making homes safer and helping to prevent future hazards like fires. Today’s final job of the year was a big one!

Our customer was experiencing issues with their dryer not drying clothes properly. Upon inspection, we discovered a **large bird’s nest** lodged in the ductwork. We safely removed it, upgraded the dryer vent to prevent future nesting, and repaired the exhaust connection to ensure it met code.

This wasn’t just about fixing a dryer exhaust system—it was about improving safety and peace of mind for another valued customer.

"Frustrated customer alert! 😤 It’s incredibly disappointing to deal with issues that should have been addressed from the start, especially when it’s something as important as the dryer exhaust system. Due to poor planning by the builder, the exhaust vent was poorly installed into the attic, creating a serious fire hazard and potential mold problems. The wrong roof vent was installed which caused 100% blockage. The backpressure caused the duct to detach and vent into the attic.
