Flood Debris Collection Update | 07/16/2026

Debris collection contractors will pause operations through the weekend and resume on Monday, July 20.

Residents with eligible flood-related debris should place it at the curb or within the public right-of-way before crews return.

Please remember:
-Only flood-related debris will be collected.
-Separate debris by type when possible.
-Do not place debris beneath power lines or where it could block traffic or create a safety hazard.

If your flood-related debris has not been collected, contact Madison County EMA at (859) 624-4787 so your information can be provided to the collection team.

⭐ Employee Spotlight: Natasha Parsons ⭐

This month, we’re recognizing Natasha Parsons, Fire/EMA Administrative Assistant, who has been serving Madison County since 2025.

Here’s what a Madison County citizen had to say:

ā€œJust a little note to tell the leadership how thoughtful and kind Natasha with Emergency Management has been. She has been patient, understanding, helpful, empathetic, and responsive.

I’ve talked with her twice, and I am grateful for all that she is navigating as I can only imagine the load that she is under. That said, her demeanor has been most professional. I wanted to express my gratitude for Natasha and how she has handled everything thrown at her.ā€

~ Kari Martin

We’re grateful to have Natasha as part of the Madison County team.
