Today, on Women Veterans Day, we proudly honor the courage, commitment, and service of the women who have worn our nation's uniform.

From defending our freedoms at home and abroad to leading with strength, resilience, and dedication, women veterans have made lasting contributions to our military and our communities.

Virginia has the largest number of women veterans per capita of any state. We thank all women veterans for their sacrifices, their leadership, and their continued impact. Your service inspires future generations and strengthens our nation every day.

Happy Women Veterans Day!
