♻ Goochland residents, get ready to recycle!

📆 The county will host a special recycling event on Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at 2744 Fairground Road.

This event will offer secure document shredding and household hazardous waste collection.

This week's Friday trash collection in Hopewell will be on Saturday, May 30, due to the Memorial Day holiday. We ask that residents on Friday routes place their carts out Friday evening. Crews will begin collections before the sun comes up on Saturday.

Trash must be bagged and in the cart with lid closed.

Just a reminder - CVWMA collections are on a one-day delay May 25-29 because of the Memorial Day holiday. This affects Red Week recycling pickup in Ashland, Richmond, Hanover, Henrico, Hopewell, Petersburg and Goochland. It also affects trash collection in Ashland, Colonial Heights and Hopewell.

Collections normally scheduled for Friday will occur on Saturday.
