🐾💦 **POOCH POOL PARTY AT SOUTHVIEW POOL!** 💦🐾

The pool may be closing for the season, but we’re giving the **DOGS one last chance to make a splash!** 🐶🌊

Bring your pooch out to Southview Pool for an evening of swimming, splashing & fun!

📅 **Monday, August 24**
⏰ **5:30–7:00 PM**
📍 **Southview Pool**333 E. South St. Richmond MO.

🐕 **$20 Registration** — includes admission for **1 dog + 1 person**
👥 **Additional guests/spectators: $7 each**

You can register ahead of time, or **sign up at Southview Pool beginning at 5:30 PM on the day of the event!**

⚠️ **IMPORTANT:** All participants MUST bring proof of **CURRENT vaccinations for each dog**. Dogs without proof of current vaccinations will not be permitted to participate.

🐾 No aggressive dogs
🐾 Dogs must be 6 months or older
🐾 No more than 1 dog per person
🐾 No human swimming — wading up to the knees is permitted
🐾 Children age 7 and under are not permitted
🐾 Please review **ALL Pooch Pool Party guidelines** at the registration link before attending.

With school starting next week, Southview Pool will officially close for the 2026 season this Sunday, August 23 at 6:00 PM.

There’s still time to squeeze in a few more swims before we say goodbye to summer! 💦☀️

And don’t forget — we’re staying open later this Thursday, Friday & Saturday! Take advantage of the extra pool time before the season comes to an end!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who visited Southview Pool this summer. We appreciate all of our swimmers, families, staff, and community for making it another great summer in Richmond!

Come see us a few more times before we close the gates for 2026! 💙

💦 Southview Pool will OPEN as scheduled today — Tuesday, August 18! ☀️

And good news — we’re staying open a little later later this week! 🏊‍♀️🌴

🌺 Thursday, August 20 — Open until 7:30 PM
🌺 Friday, August 21 — Open until 9:00 PM
🌺 Saturday, August 22 — Open until 9:00 PM

🎟️ Half-price admission will also be offered during the evening hours — see the flyer for details!

All other days this week, Southview Pool will close at our regular time of 6:00 PM.

**UPDATE: POOL CLOSED AUGUST 16 & 17**

Unfortunately, Southview Pool will not open August 16 and August 17, due to unforeseen circumstances, due to a crack in one of our pool pipes that requires repair.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. We will provide another update as soon as we have more information.

Reminder: Southview Pool will be **closed today, Monday, August 3**, for **scheduled preventative maintenance**.

As part of our routine maintenance, we have performed a **preventative chlorine shock treatment** to help maintain excellent water quality. This is a planned, proactive measure that helps keep the pool clean, clear, and safe for our swimmers throughout the season.

**💡 DID YOU KNOW?**
Routine chlorine shock treatments help:
💧 Break down body oils, sunscreen, sweat, and other organic contaminants.
🦠 Eliminate bacteria and other microorganisms.
✨ Improve water clarity and support overall water quality.

These scheduled treatments are an important part of maintaining a healthy swimming environment and are **not the result of a water quality issue or contamination incident**.
