Richmond Township Planning Meeting
Wednesday, May 20 at 7:00 pm, Twp Hall
—Master Plan discussion is on the agenda
—(Future) Date will be set for Data Center Ordinance Public Hearing

This is an appropriate meeting to share what we think should be covered by the ordinance. And in the future, there will be a Public Hearing, where we can review the rough draft ordinance and comment on it again, before the ordinance is adopted/recommended for adoption/rejected.

I’m sorry - the link to petition seems to “not be found.” I signed it this morning… not sure what’s going on. The other info is good. Thank you.

Lansing is stripping communities of local control and seizing our land for data centers and green energy scams — and now they want to dictate housing policies for us. Write to your state legislators and urge them to vote no on HB 5529-5532 and 5581-5585. Attend the Hearing on Thursday, May 14 at 9:00 am. Sign the petition! Join “Our Home, Our Voice” on FB.

Data Centers are out of control. Check out Box Elder Co, Utah meeting where officials approved plans for 40,000 acre hyperscale data center development that will ultimately use 9 gigawatts of power — the whole state of Utah currently uses 4 GW. The development will also use enough water to supply 20,000 households in a dry state that needs water for livestock as well as for people. This has to be stopped.

Facing hundreds of protesters who oppose the project, the Box Elder County Commission cast its final vote on a massive data center campus.
