Smyth County and the Commonwealth lost a champion for the community. Deputy Hunter Reedy was tragically killed in the line of duty while selflessly protecting the lives of others. Our thoughts and prayers are with Deputy Reedy's friends, family, and the Smyth County Sheriff's Department.
