During National Community Health Worker Awareness Week, Family Lifeline is proud to celebrate our dedicated Community Health Workers: Yazmin, Ida, and Joanne.

Community Health Workers play a vital role in helping individuals and families access the care, resources, and support they need. As trusted partners, advocates, and connectors, they help bridge gaps in access to care, guide people through complex systems, and build meaningful relationships that promote healthier lives.

Every day, Joanne, Ida, and Yazmin make a difference for children, families, older adults, and caregivers across our community. Their compassion, commitment, and tireless efforts embody Family Lifeline's mission of empowering individuals and strengthening families through person-centered support.

Please join us in thanking this amazing group of women for the important role they play in advancing health, well-being, and equity throughout our community. 💙

📚✏️ Welcome back, students!

A successful school year is built on more than books and lessons. It takes a community. We are grateful for the teachers who inspire curiosity, the school staff who create safe and welcoming environments, the parents and caregivers who support learning at home, and the community members who invest in our children's futures.

Together, we help students build confidence, overcome challenges, and reach their full potential.

To every student starting a new chapter this year: we believe in you and are cheering you on every step of the way. Wishing everyone a safe, positive, and successful school year! 🍎✨

Family Lifeline honors the older adults whose contributions have strengthened our families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and communities.

We believe that every person should have the opportunity to age safely, independently, and with dignity in their home or community setting of choice. Supporting healthy aging means helping older adults maintain their independence while ensuring they have access to the resources, services, and social connections they need to thrive.

Reducing isolation is a critical part of healthy aging. Strong social connections improve quality of life, support overall well-being, and help older adults remain active, engaged members of the community.

On this Senior Citizens Day, we invite you to join us in celebrating the older adults in your life and helping create a community where everyone can age with connection, purpose, and dignity. 💙

Each month Family Lifeline awards one of our staff members with the Bicycle Award.🚲The Bicycle Award is given to a staff member who embodies Family Lifeline's values of respect, excellence, accountability, partnership, support, and fun.

This month, Glen, our Operations Manager, was presented with the Bicycle Award! 🎉

Glen began working here earlier this year in February and has quickly become an essential part of our team. Tiffany, our Chief Operations Officer, describes Glen as "The person who quietly jumps in to help, solve problems, and keep things moving without needing recognition or fanfare. He has become a steady, gentle presence across Family Lifeline. The person who can remind people of accountability while also making them feel supported with his leadership and wisdoms."

Congratulations to Glen for receiving our Bicycle Award this month! (He will also be fixing the consistently broken bicycle kickstand while he has the award because that's just the kind of person he is. 💛)

Today, on National Nonprofit Day, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supports Family Lifeline's mission.

Thank you to our donors whose generosity fuels our work, our volunteers who generously share their time and talents, our community partners who collaborate to expand impact, and our dedicated staff who show up every day with compassion and expertise.

Nonprofits play a unique and essential role in our region. We help fill gaps in care, connect people with critical resources, and provide support where and when it is needed most. This work is only possible because of a community that believes everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive.

Thank you for helping us build a healthier, more connected community! 💚
