Parent SBDM elections will be held on Tuesday, May 26 from 7:00 am-4:00 pm in the front office. In order to vote, you must be the parent/guardian of a student who will be enrolled at Clark-Moores for the 2026-27 school year and you will need to show an ID.

This morning, our 8th graders had one final celebration. They ate a pancake breakfast together, played games, and won superlatives. Congrats to all our superlative winners! Two more days until they are high schoolers!!!

We have decided to keep nominations open until 3:00 pm on May 21.

The Site-Based Decision Making Council, SBDM, is an important part of shaping the policies at Clark-Moores. Two of the council positions are parent members. We are accepting nominations for parent members until 3:00 pm on May 12, 2026. A parent council member can be a parent, step-parent, foster parent, or a legal guardian of a student who will attend Clark-Moores during the 2026-2027 school year. We encourage minorities to apply; one parent member must be a minority. You may nominate yourself or someone else. The form can be found in our school office or in digital form on our website and page. The nominees will be posted May 13 on our front door, website, and page. The election will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 14 and 15, from 7:30 am- 6:00 pm in the front office. Voting will be in person only.

Qualifications: A parent council member shall be a parent, step parent, foster parent, or legal guardian of a student attending the school during the council member’s term of office. A parent is ineligible if he/she is an employee or a relative of an employee (father, mother, brother, sister, husband, wife, son, daughter, aunt, uncle, son-in-law, daughter-in-law) of the school or for the district central office, or a local school board member or the spouse of a school board member. SBDM representatives are required to attend a training of session (six-hours for a new member or three hours for an experienced member) and monthly meetings.
