The Laundry Project

The Laundry Project provides relief for struggling families by providing free laundry days. Laundry often takes a back seat in a families budget.

While Richmond's economy continues to struggle many people are left without jobs or working for minimum wage. Raising a family has become more and more difficult in these troubled times. Many families struggle to pay the rent, utilities and provide food for their families. Piles of dirty laundry are the norm. Many children are left sleeping on dirty bedding and going to school in soiled clothes. T

his takes a significant toll on one's self esteem and their basic quality of life. The Laundry Project's goal is to help provide families with the basic need of a clean laundry. Each load provided will enhance the quality of life of the participant. The Laundry Project is about helping people.
