The Richmond Historic Preservation Commission is scheduled to meet Monday, Sept. 9, 5:30pm for the monthly meeting in the City Building Council Chambers (3rd floor). This meeting is open to the public. On the agenda is the request from a petitioner for a COA for demolition of a property at 1828 E. Main St., Richmond.

At our next meeting on September 9 at 5:30 p.m. in the City's Council Chambers, the HPC will hear a Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) request for the demolition of the house located at 1828 East Main St. This property is located in the Linden Hill Conservation District. There will be a public hearing before members of the HPC vote either to issue or deny issuing the COA.

This property is known as the Former Mechanics Laundry and is located in the Depot Conservation District. There will be a public hearing before members of the HPC vote either to issue or deny issuing the COA.
