Virginia Department of Transportation just released its Statewide Multiuse Trails Plan: a framework of a connected trail network across the commonwealth. We provided data on existing and planned bicycle infrastructure in our region.

The release of the plan coincides with RVA Bike Month, held every May, to showcase the many benefits of bicycling. https://tinyurl.com/StatewideTrails

192 miles: dedicated to safer cycling infrastructure in the region. Projects in BikePedRVA 2045, like the creation of 43-mile Fall Line trail, set a target for hundreds more miles of shared used paths and bicycle and pedestrian routes to form a connected regional active transportation network over the next 25 years. This RVA Bike Month, tell us your favorite in the comments.
