Whitewater Adult Education is hosting Servsafe Manager Certification training FREE that's 1 day long, covers course AND education! Mandatory orientation August 14, 2026 and class on September 18, 2026. See shared post for details!

You must pre register using one of the options below, then you must attend registration night on Friday, August 14 at 6pm. Class will be held on Friday, September 18. Only 10 seats per class! We will offer this four times this year. Pre-register now to save your seat!

FOR RESIDENTS (families living at Jerry Geier, Southview, Bobby Smith, or Merle Henderson apartments, or receiving Housing Choice /Section 8 Voucher from the Housing Authority).

In collaboration with New Deliverance Temple Ministries International https://www.facebook.com/DTFORYOU, the Purdue Extension Wayne County, and https://www.facebook.com/ReidHealth05

There will be block play activities for children between the ages of 8 months to 8 years old, and the first 20 families to participate will receive a free gift!
Community organizations will also be present providing information about health insurance navigation, mental health care services, and more!

Join us Saturday, May 30th 11:00am-1:00pm for our Family Brunch and Build, a Mother's and Father's Day celebration at the Jerry Geier Apartments!

(This event intended for residents only: living at Jerry Geier, Bobby Smith, Southview, or Merle Henderson apartments, or receiving a Housing Choice ("Section 8") voucher from the HACR)

This event will serve a free hot brunch to Housing Authority residents and offer free giveaways, supportive resources, and a free block-building activity for children ages 8 months to 8 years, thanks to the collaboration and support of New Deliverance Temple Ministries International, Purdue Extension Wayne County, and Reid Health.
