We are excited for President Detrick’s guidance, leadership and continued brotherhood to come!

As mentioned, we appreciate President-Emeritus Bragg for his 40 years of unwavering support to not only the IAFF, the Virginia Professional Fire Fighters, but its members/the individual Local needs. Brother Bragg, we hope you enjoy retirement and we will see you at the next one!

Happy International Firefighters’ Day! 🔥🚒🧯

From all of us at Local 4664, we proudly stand alongside the men and women who answer the call—day or night—putting service above self.

We honor the sacrifices made, remember those we’ve lost, and thank every firefighter for their unwavering dedication to our community.

Public Safety Announcement: Open Burning Advisory

Due to ongoing drought, high temperatures, low humidity, and dry vegetation, our area is at an increased risk for wildfires.

Please avoid ALL open burning at this time, including debris, brush, and leaves. Even small fires can quickly become dangerous under current conditions.

Help keep our community safe:
• Do not burn outdoors until conditions improve
• Properly dispose of smoking materials
• Avoid activities that create sparks (welding, equipment use in dry grass)
• Report any smoke or fire immediately

While this is not currently a burn ban, conditions are being closely monitored.

Your cooperation is critical in preventing wildfires and protecting lives, property, and natural resources.

The Virginia Professional Fire Fighters (VPFF) celebrates the passing of historic collective bargaining legislation in the Virginia General Assembly. Here’s to women.
To the women breaking down barriers.
To the women lifting each other up.
To the women paving the way for our future.
To the women who never give up.
To the women who are our biggest supporters.
To the women making a change.
You are the future!
We are so thankful that we have Sisters that are paving the way for future firefighters and EMT’s and helping them to know that this career is the best out there!
