Today, the new deputy commanding general of the 80th Training Command, Brian M. Gatti, was promoted to the rank of brigadier general!

In his ceremony, hosted by Maj. Gen. Michael J. Dougherty, Gatti was presented with multiple traditional gifts afforded to officers who reach the flag officer ranks.

Brig. Gen. Gatti’s ceremony was attended by Maj. Gen. Dianne Del Rosso, Deputy Chief of the Army Reserve, Brig. Gen. Gatti’s family, and a host of other special guests and friends.

Congratulations, Brig. Gen. Gatti, on this monumental achievement and welcome to the 80th Training Command!

The 80th Training Command’s HHD change of command ceremony was held today in Richmond, VA. We welcomed Maj. Carolyn Shen as the new HHD commander. We are pleased to have you on the team, Maj. Shen!

As a result, we said “until next time” to Maj. Ross West. Thank you for your unwavering support, leadership, and guidance. You will be missed!

Soldiers in the 80th Training Command HHD completed a modified Combat Field Test (CFT) this weekend.

The CFT is an annual fitness assessment that is required for combat specialty Soldiers in addition to the Army Fitness Test.
