First Peek at the bookfair Sept. 3rd from 3pm-4pm after school.
Open Sept. 8th from 3pm-4pm in the afternoon.
Open Sept. 10th at 4pm for all parents.
Grandparent's Night is Sept. 10th from 5pm-630pm!

Students will shop during the day in their Specials classes. Bookfair will close at 11am on Sept. 11th.

This September, Carter Elementary is proud to partner with Candlelighters, a Childhood Cancer Family Alliance, in honor of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout the month of September, we are collecting toys to help bring comfort, joy, and smiles to children and families affected by childhood cancer.

You’ll find four donation bins at the front of the school- one for each House! Every toy you donate earns one House Point for your House. The more you give, the more points your House earns!

BUT WAIT... THERE'S MORE!

In addition to earning House Points for your donations, students will also have a chance to win some exciting prizes!

🎟️ FIRST RAFFLE — MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 14
- 4 tickets to a Space Cowboys game (Wednesday, September 16th)
- 4 tickets to a Houston Astros game (Thursday, September 17th)
Two winners will be drawn during Monday’s announcements!

🎁 SECOND RAFFLE — END OF SEPTEMBER
And we’re not stopping there! A second raffle will be held at the end of the month, with another exciting prize to be announced soon!

HOW DOES THE RAFFLE WORK?
- Each child who donates at least one toy will have their name entered into the raffle.
- One child = one raffle entry, regardless of how many toys they donate. Students will not receive a physical raffle ticket. Their names will be written on raffle tickets and entered into the drawing.

Fourth grade scientists are digging deep into the study of matter this week! 🔬🧪🔍 Through hands-on labs, students are learning how to measure mass using triple beam balances and explore temperature using scientific tools and investigations. Great job Coyotes! 🐺 Keep exploring, experimenting, and asking questions! 🚀✨
