Already completed all the puzzles you have at home. Bring them to the Main Library Adult Puzzle Swap. Select a gently used puzzle to take home for each gently used puzzle you leave. The Swap will take place on Monday, July 29 from 1:30-2:30pm and again at 5:30-6:30pm in the Main Library, Whittlesey Room at 325 Civic Center Plaza. Juneteenth commemorates the end of slavery for all African Americans with a celebration through music, food, and culture. The art of Double Dutch jump rope is a rich tradition practiced by youth and adults in the African American community. The performance group, Jump Squad 510 will demonstrate this intricate jump rope form at the Richmond Juneteenth Festival. This event is hosted by the Richmond Public Library and the Friends of the Richmond Public Library. Come and celebrate, at Richmond Juneteenth, Saturday, June 22, at tennis courts in Nicholl Park, 3230 Macdonald Ave., Richmond, Ca from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
