Isaiah Thomas known online as HMBLZAYY left Philadelphia on March 26 and walked 3,000 miles to California completing his cross country journey on Day 124. The Nicetown native livestreamed and raised money to start HUMBL University a trade school designed to empower youth.

The journey hit a serious wall on Day 34 in Richmond Indiana when Thomas was struck by a car while walking on the side of the road. The crash was captured on his livestream. He was hospitalized for more than a month but escaped without a single broken bone and got back on the road.

Thomas crossed into California wearing a Kelly Green Saquon Barkley jersey. The inspiration came from a seven day peace walk for Black History Month that raised enough money to send five Philly kids to Disney World.

"Lock in with yourself, lock in with God and understand that you can do anything you wanna do in this world," he said. "We all get one life. Why not be great?"
