Angel Of Hope Richmond Virginia

Angel Of Hope Richmond Virginia Angel of Hope:A Memorial to honor and remember our children who have left before their time. On December 6th of each year at 6 p.m.

The Christmas Box Angel Statue was introduced to the world in the book The Christmas Box, a worldwide bestseller and hit television movie by author Richard Paul Evans. In the book, a woman mourns the loss of her child at the base of an angel monument. Though the story is mostly fiction, the angel monument once existed but is speculated to have been destroyed. The new angel statue was commissioned

by Richard Paul Evans, in response to reports that grieving parents were seeking out the angel as a place to grieve and heal. a candlelight healing ceremony is held at the base of the Christmas Box Angel monument. All are invited to attend and also we encourage you to bring a white flower to lay at the base of the statue during the ceremony to remember a child who has left us before their time.

Saturday, December 6th at 6:00 p.m. we will be holding our Angel Of Hope candlelight ceremony at Hollywood cemetery. The recent drop in temperatures are a good reminder of how cool it can be out there and how important it is to dress warmly, especially if it's windy.
Also, please remember to bring a white flower in honor of the child or children you are honoring, we will place them at the base of the Angel at the end of the ceremony.

It was a cool but very beautiful evening, Thank you to everyone that attended tonight. 💕

Just another reminder to dress warmly this Friday as we will be outside and the temperatures will be dipping below freezing. We also tend to get a little breeze blowing through so that can make it feel cooler.

I hope that everyone is enjoying time with family today, the holidays can be a difficult time for us..... December 6th is coming soon, please remember to dress warm as we will be outside. At this time though at least it's looking like a cool but dry evening. It is customary at the end of the ceremony to lay flower at the base of the Angel. Apart from most of the rest of the nation, we do hold our ceremony at 6:00 p.m rather than 7:00 p.m.

Good morning everyone, just a reminder that we will be gathering on December 6th at 6:00 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, to honor children who have passed before their time. The weather looks to be chilly but at least dry this year. So please dress warm as it can be quite breezy. At the end of the ceremony it is tradition to place white flowers at the base of the Angel in remembrance of our children.

The heavy rain held off long enough, so glad we were able to gather for another Angel of Hope candlelight ceremony💕
