Today, we take a moment to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001. This day forever marks a time of great courage, resilience, and unity. We remember the heroes who stood tall amid the chaos, and the countless acts of kindness and bravery that shone through the darkness. Their stories and sacrifices continue to inspire us, reminding us of the strength we find when we stand together.

Cal Athletics varsity female teams proudly invite families and students ages 6-13 to the inaugural Go Girls, Go Bears, Go Play! Field Day on February 4th in honor of National Girls & Women in Sports Day!!
Mark your calendars for Feb 4th and join the Cal Golden Bears for a fun filled day starting at Edwards Stadium! Cal Athletics recognizes the importance of sports for girls and women - equipping girls with skills and confidence that extend far beyond the sports field. Whether you're passionate about uplifting girls and women in sports, or simply looking for a day of fun and entertainment, Go Bears, Go Girls, Go Play Field Day has something for everyone! Grab your friends and family, and let's make some memories together at Go Girls, Go Bears, Go Play!

Here's a glimpse of what you can expect:

Free admission for youth and families!
Engaging sport-specific activity stations led by Cal Varsity teams and student-athletes - come try a new sport!
Community partner booths such as Oakland Roots/Soul Soccer Club, Skate Like a Girl, Bras For Girls, and more!
Exciting giveaways and raffles throughout the day
All youth participants 13 and under earn free admission to the Cal Women's Basketball Game vs. USC at 12:00 at Haas Pavillion following the event! Adult tickets are available at a discounted price of $9 per ticket.
Following the game join Cal Women’s Basketball for an WNBA-focused panel, Shattering the Ceilings and Inspiring Generations! The panel will be moderated by ESPN's Ros Gold-Onwude and will include current WNBA players Layshia Clarendon and Haley Jones.

Please, be aware of the following AMPS/BJE policy relative to this issue:
