We’re recovering stolen cars like it’s nobody’s business. Except it actually is our business. 🚘 It’s what we help law enforcement agencies do.

In 2025, 346 stolen vehicles were recovered by the Virginia State Police, 197 cars received VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) etchings to help deter theft, and 252 arrests were made thanks in part to some valuable tips! If you have information that could lead to the arrest of a thief, submit it for rewards of up to $25,000. https://heatreward.com/

🛞 Am I in a well-lit area?
🛞 Are my valuables out of sight?
🛞 Are my windows up and doors locked?
🛞 Do I have my keys?

If you can say YES to all of these, you’ve done everything to protect yourself!

Over the past several weeks, Fluvanna County has seen an increase in vehicle break ins across residential neighborhoods, often involving multiple vehicles in a single area overnight.

We are asking residents to take a moment to check their vehicles and report anything suspicious or missing.

Most importantly, help protect yourself:
🔒 Lock your vehicles
🔑 Remove keys and key fobs
💼 Do not leave valuables inside

Criminals look for easy opportunities. Do not be one.
