We are incredibly grateful to Consolidated for blessing HomeAgain with a major donation that will directly support the families and children we serve across Richmond!

Their team generously provided 300+ bottles of Powerade, 200+ assorted Coca‑Cola beverages, and 80 backpacks fully stocked with everything a child needs for a great school year. This support ensures RVA students walk into the classroom feeling confident, prepared, cared for and hydrated.

A very special thank‑you to Rhonda Gonzalez and her amazing team for showing up with so much excitement and heart for our community. Your kindness makes a real impact — and we are truly grateful! Thank you so much for all that you do, we appreciate you. 💛

HomeAgain Richmond is celebrating an amazing act of generosity from City Hall ( ) - a donation of 300+ cases of water! Since our shelters use a case a day, this support will carry us well into next year and help families stay hydrated through every season.

Thank you to Alecia Blackwell, Kimberly Hines, and Aiden Vox for coordinating this effort and uplifting HomeAgain and many other nonprofits across RVA.

And a huge shoutout to our volunteer Francis Nyarku, who loaded every case into the truck on his own and even assisted with unloading at the shelters. Talk about a workout! That is real commitment - and we are so grateful for his service and strength.

It's a blessing to have neighbors like this in RVA. Thank you to everyone who spent time, energy, and sweat helping with this event. We are beyond grateful and appreciate you more than words can express!

You helped us transform our supply space faster than we ever imagined — tackling projects that would’ve taken weeks and completing them with ease, laughter, and genuine care. The warmth you all radiate is undeniable!

And of course, the hygiene supply donation you brought with you will immediately support families in our shelters and housing programs. Your commitment to community, your drive, and your willingness to serve remind us what RVA is all about.

Your generosity ensures that families in our shelters and housing programs are stepping into the fall season confident, supported, and ready — whether they’re returning to school or re‑entering the workforce.

🚨 A huge thank you to our friends at McDonald's for helping us nourish families experiencing homelessness! 💛🍟

This week's generous donation included frozen breakfast and meal items like bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits, chicken patties, chicken nuggets, cookies, and pies—all of which have been delivered to our City Family Shelter, where they'll help provide warm, comforting meals for the families we serve.

Partnerships like this make a real difference, reducing food waste while ensuring our clients have access to nutritious meals during a challenging time in their lives.

Thank you, McDonald's, for investing in our community and helping make HomeAgain a place of hope, stability, and fresh starts. We can't wait to continue this partnership in the weeks ahead! ❤️

A huge thank you to Fit4Kids for helping our families grow more than just vegetables—you've helped cultivate opportunity, confidence, and healthy habits. 🌱💚

Thanks to their generosity, new planter boxes have been installed at our family shelters, giving residents the chance to grow their own fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs while they work toward permanent housing.

These gardens are about more than food. They're about learning new skills, creating moments of joy, fostering self-sufficiency, and showing children where healthy food comes from.

We're so grateful to Fit4Kids for investing in the health and well-being of the families we serve. We can't wait to watch these gardens—and our families—flourish.
