END OF SUMMER PROGRAM PERFORMANCES! What a JOY-filled way to close out the summer! Our Active Minds End of Summer Program celebration was filled with smiles, applause, worship and performances that reminded up that when we pour into our children, something beautiful comes out! Congrats to our three pre-k students - Jamere, Sarah and Demi who graduated from preK and will be attending kindergarten. The summer may be coming to a close, but the seeds we've planted will continue to grow!

At Active Minds Summer Program students took learning outside the classroom and into the world of discovery with an exciting field trip to the Science Museum! From hands-on experiences to plenty of “WOW!” moments, our students were busy exploring, learning, and having FUN! Because at Active Minds, we believe learning should be an adventure!

Tool Day with Mr. Howard was in session!
Who says you have to wait until you’re grown to own a house and hire a contractor? 😂 Our Active Minds students stepped into the roles of homeowners and contractors for a fun-filled day of hands-on learning! From making the call for repairs to explaining exactly what needed to be done, our little homeowners were serious about their properties! And our contractors? They came ready to get the job done! 😄Tool Day with Mr. Howard gave our students the opportunity to use their imaginations, practice communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and real-life skills—all while having FUN!

At Active Minds, we believe learning doesn’t always happen behind a desk. Sometimes it looks like a toolbox, a pretend house, and a group of future homeowners who know EXACTLY what they want!

So many fun Summer Camp activities taking place at Active Minds! As part of our Young Gentleman's class, Pastor Gerald Fountain Sr. of Rejoice Christian Center taught all of the young men how to tie a necktie! They will be ready for their next special occasion with their perfectly tied necktie. Thank you Pastor!
