The Wayne County Health Department will stop all flood related well water testing on Friday, September 11, 2026. We will continue to follow up with residents whose water we have already tested.
The Health Department will remain a drop off and pick up point for HML Labs. Residents who want to test their well water can pick up a sample bottle at the Health Department, collect their sample, and return it to the Health Department for HML pickup. Residents will pay the lab directly; the Health Department will only serve as the drop off and pick up location.
