Congratulations to Alazé Chowning, 2nd Grade Teacher at Sunrise Elementary, on being named a semifinalist for the 2027 Missouri Teacher of the Year! 🍎📚

We are incredibly proud of Mrs. Chowning and the dedication, creativity, and care she brings to her students and our school community each day. This recognition is a wonderful reflection of the impact she has on our students and the difference she makes in the classroom.

📢 TRANSPORTATION CHANGE REMINDER! 🚌

All transportation changes for the start of the 2026–2027 school year must be made by Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

📅 Important Dates:
• Changes made by August 19 will begin at the start of school.
• Changes requested August 20–28 will NOT take effect until Monday, August 31.
• After August 31, we will return to the normal 24-hour transportation change policy.

📍 Transportation changes can ONLY be made through your child’s school building office or the Central Office.

Please plan ahead and make any needed changes by Wednesday, August 19! 🚌
