Classes begin the week of August 24. Choose the schedule and location that works best for you. EMT to AEMT is one semester. EMT to Paramedic is two semesters with the option to test at AEMT after the first semester. AEMT and EMT-Intermediate to Paramedic is only one semester.

LifeEvac 4 landing in the field behind McKenney Volunteer Fire Department to meet with the Youth Academy at Dinwiddie Fire & EMS. 🚁

Earlier this week, LifeEvac 4 (on a spare aircraft) visited with the Youth Academy held by Dinwiddie Fire & EMS. This was a great opportunity to introduce flight medicine, career opportunities, and education pathways. Thank you to Dinwiddie Fire & EMS for inviting us out and McKenney Volunteer Fire Department for hosting! We hope to cross paths with each of these students in the healthcare career path.

We were excited to have Dr. Marlon Levy, CEO of VCU Health System and SVP for VCU Health Sciences stop by and visit our LifeEvac 5 crew on his visit to VCU Health Community Memorial Hospital, along with, Charlie! Charlie is the newest member of the Dogs on Call therapy team! Welcome to the team, Charlie!
