Contra Costa Family Justice Alliance Bringing hope and healing to survivors of interpersonal violence. When survivors of family violence seek help, they are often frustrated by a fractured system.

The Family Justice Center is a warm and welcoming multiresource hub for people affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, child abuse, and human trafficking. By locating many service providers in one place, the Center helps people in crisis to find hope, safety, and healing through a single door. They may have to travel to multiple locations and tell their story repeatedly. Nation

al estimates show that victims may access as many as 32 different agencies for assistance. These hurdles can discourage their efforts, and cause many people to simply stop seeking help. The Center brings multiple partners, both public and community-based, to provide holistic services to victims of interpersonal violence.

We want to inform our community that our East FJC location is temporarily closed effective immediately due to building-related concerns that require further assessment. The safety and well-being of our clients, staff, and visitors remain our highest priority.

While the East FJC facility is closed, services will continue without interruption. Our staff have been reassigned to our Central and South FJC locations and will continue providing support, advocacy, and care to clients during this transition.

If you are currently receiving services through East FJC, your navigator or service provider will remain available to support you. Clients may also continue accessing services through our other four locations.

We understand this temporary closure may create some inconvenience and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to ensure the facility is safe for everyone. We will share updates as more information becomes available regarding next steps and reopening plans.

We are so glad to see our amazing Community Fellows complete 3.5 month long program that focused on creating community projects that focused on awareness interpersonal violence. Our participants created projects around education, stalking, teen dating violence, wellness and supportive spaces.

Our participants were supported by our amazing team Annabelle, Adriana () and our program coordinator William who also participated.

All participants receive a stipend to support them in their journey.

We appreciate them for joining us and sharing their experiences.

This is for our older adults 55+ who are also supporting seniors to come learn about all the services offered by Contra Costa Senior Legal and Meal on Wheels.

There will be discussions about housing rights, fraud & financial scams, healthy eating, programs and other services for seniors.

Leadership San Ramon Valley in partnership with NCA|ODA has worked to place 5 free Naloxone distribution centers across the San Ramon Valley.

They have placed one at our own South Center Family Justice Center. Naloxone is a life saving medication that reverses opioid overdoses and gives people a second chance.
