NUMBER: 26-6 DATE OF RELEASE: August 11, 2026
This week Crime Stoppers needs the public’s help in identifying subjects in reference to a bank fraud out of Henrico County.
Henrico Police are attempting to identify the two individuals depicted in a security video that may be involved in bank fraud. On April 30, 2026, two individuals entered a bank in Henrico’s western portion and attempted to convince a bank teller that the female was an account holder and wanted to add the male subject to her account. In fact, the female was using a stolen identity from an out-of-town victim in an effort to take over the account. The bank teller did not permit the transaction to occur, and the victim contacted police.
