Everyone has a reason why they do or dont do something. All I'm saying is if your in the IRR ask yourself a question. Is the reason, the choice, or the decision to "not" at least look into your options today in your 20's going to be enough to justify to yourself in your 30's, 40's, or older why you decided to not at least look into your opportunities while you had a chance? I hear it a lot from older Marines at different events "well if I would have stayed in I could have retired all ready"...

Q&A TIME: I have been getting a lot of questions when speaking to Marines about the recent TFRS message regarding. Long story short IF YOU HAVE OUT OF REG TATTOOS and want to return to service in the Marines. You need to get those Tattoos documented. It's not a hard process if you have more than 1 year till the end of your IRR time. If you wait till or have less than 1 year till your IRR time ends. The process can go from 3 day wait to 3 months. D-Day: June 6 marks the anniversary of operations Neptune and Overlord, which began when Allied forces landed in France to stage a massive assault on deeply entrenched German positions. Warplanes struck from above while ground forces swept in from the sea.
June 6th,1918 "the longest day in Marine Corps History." The battle fought in Belleau Wood (June 1918) was the first real taste of battle for the US Marines in World War One with General Pershing calling Belleau Wood the most important battle fought by US forces since the US Civil War.

To all... The weekend we are all about to embark on is about something way more then ourselves. I just want it to be known that this is often one of the most dangerous holidays weekends when it come to preventable mishaps. To everyone I hope we can all come together this weekend and make good choices by thinking before we do. Please have a plan before you go out, have a plan to get home safely, and have a plan to make sure that we put others before ourselves by making sure our loved one make home safe too.
