During the June 9 Board Meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the 2026-2027 budget, including increased teacher compensation and raises for district employees.

The approved budget includes:

📚 Teacher starting salary increased to $68,900
📈 $2,200 increase from the 2025-2026 school year
👏 3% raise for all other district employees

These investments reflect Lamar CISD's commitment to Excellence, Accountability, and Big Thinking as we continue attracting and retaining exceptional employees to serve our growing community.

The Board of Trustees has announced its leadership officers for the 2026–2027 school year, elected during the Board’s regular meeting on May 19. 🗳️

The Board elected the following officers:
