Special Meeting Rescheduled

Due to today's extreme temperatures, the Nippersink Public Library Board of Trustees' Special Meeting for the Annual Facility Walkthrough has been rescheduled.

New Date: Tuesday, August 11, 2026
Time: 5:00 p.m.

The Regular Board Meeting will still take place as scheduled this evening at 6:30 p.m.

🌞 Stay Safe During Today's Extreme Heat 🌞

With dangerously hot temperatures expected today and tomorrow, please take extra precautions to stay safe. Drink plenty of water, limit time outdoors, wear light-colored clothing, and check in on neighbors, friends, and family—especially older adults and those without air conditioning.

Need a place to cool down? ❄️ The Nippersink Public Library is proud to serve as an official McHenry County Cooling Center during our regular business hours.
