We're very excited to announce that today is the first day of the February Richmond Giving Well 😊🎉

The OneGivv team decided to create the Richmond Giving Well to bring the Richmond community together and support the causes that continue to support Richmond. We thought, instead of only giving individually, why not all come to together as One to make a greater impact within the community! We work with local Richmond nonprofit organizations and select 5 nonprofits each month to showcase their causes and all that they do for Richmond!

You can pledge as low as $1 or more to give towards the Well and at the end of each month, 100% of the donations are shared equally amongst the 5 selected nonprofits and donors can keep track of all their givving through OneGivv!

Here are the 5 nonprofits you can support throughout February!

Blue Sky Fund: provides transformational experiences for urban youth through outdoor education.

Voices for Virginia's Children: is a statewide, nonpartisan advocacy organization that champions public policies to improve the lives of children.

The Next Move Program: partners with businesses to create guided internship experiences for young adults with disabilities.

Peace and Grace Ministries: serves families in Richmond's inner city, with a special focus on those on Raven Street, a division of Mosby Court.

Nolef Turns Inc.: are committed to helping reduce recidivism by helping those with justice involvement and their families successfully thrive post-conviction.

All donations made to the Richmond Giving Well will be sent to the following nonprofits organizations by 12:30pm on February 29, 2020. Three months after the close of the February Richmond Giving Well, there will be an impact report update on how your donations made a difference in the Richmond community! @ Richmond, Virginia

Beyond Boundaries RVA's mission: to offer outdoor adventures to kids and adults with disabilities, veterans, at-risk youth, and groups in recovery programs.

Work of Art's mission: to empower young ladies ages 13-18 from single parent or low income households, foster care or other unforeseen circumstances. Young women who are in compromised situations are taught to lead, inspire, and connect through their various programs.

Team Excel's mission: to improve student outcomes and increase volunteerism among youth and young adults around the world.

CARITAS mission: to help our most vulnerable neighbors break cycles of homelessness and addiction to reclaim their dignity. They do this by providing effective, permanent solutions to individuals and families dealing with the crisis of homelessness and/or addiction in the Metro Richmond area.

Boys to Men Mentoring Virginia's mission: to support boys during their critical teenage years as they transition from a boy into a man.

“The thing about it is we have talented children in Richmond County — we have talented children everywhere — but because of their economic status or things like that they don’t always get the opportunity to compete in these robotics tournaments and we’re going to tear down those barriers,” Epps said. “We’re going to make sure that this type of learning is affordable for every child.”

Their mission is to bring comprehensive arts programming to communities witch limited access to the arts.
Through their efforts they reach many communities that do not have a creative outlet, such as senior citizens. They also bring the whole Richmond Community together in activities that helps us make art for the community, by the community.
