Located in the Science Museum of Virginia, The MiX is free and open to all high school students. Featuring the latest technology – including brand new Macs, GoPro Cameras and a giant Green Screen – The MiX is a space to work solo or collaborate with other students. Test out Adobe Photoshop and InDesign or meet up with one the MiX Mentors to learn more about programming, graphic arts, animation, ro

botics and more. Work on school projects, boost your computer skills or just be creative with your friends! Become a member to sign up for a specialty workshop, mess around or geek out in the lab – and don’t forget to bring your own brain. Follow The MiX on social media:

Join us for Cooking Week and Random Week before The Mix closes for our seasonal reset.

📅 Closed: August 15–September 3
🎉 Reopening: Friday, September 4

When we return, we’ll be back on our school-year schedule:
