Welcome back, Kerns!

I hope you’ve had a fantastic summer and are ready to get back to it. With every new school year comes new experiences that will make you become a better student and adult. With College Democrats, I want to be able to provide those experiences through the club with opportunities to work in politics. This entire year’s theme will be Political Action. We have the midterms coming up very soon in November and a gubernatorial race next November. We MUST stand up to those that continue to cut funding to education.

Our first meeting should be next Monday from 5 PM to 6 PM in a location that has yet to be determined. Meetings will then continue to reoccur in the same place at 5 PM every Monday. I will post strictly about the meeting once I get the location.

Just wanted to let you know that tonight’s meeting has been cancelled due to awards ceremonies for our President and Vice President. Great job, guys! Hope everyone has had a great “dead week” so far!
