My father served as the director of the DJJ under Governor Warner, and I am proud to have been invited to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of more than 45 young graduates. The class of 2026 has shown perseverance and a commitment to growth. Congratulations to all of Friday’s graduates!

Virginia consumers deserve data privacy protections, and the Commonwealth should be able to fully enforce violations. Attorney General Jay Jones joined a coalition of 18 attorneys general and state agencies in opposing the Securing and Establishing Consumer Uniform Rights and Enforcement over Data Act (SECURE Data Act), a proposed federal law falsely being held up as a data privacy bill.
