Commissioner Nick DeSilvio was honored to attend the Juniper Village Memorial Day Ceremony, where he presented a Gloucester County Proclamation to Regina Shuster, founder of Support the Troops, in recognition of her dedication to supporting military personnel and veterans.

What began as an effort to provide basic necessities to deployed service members has grown into a mission of assisting local veterans with resources, benefits, and community support.

The ceremony featured patriotic music and brought together residents and veterans to honor the sacrifices of our nation's heroes.

We honor the life of former Gloucester County Sheriff, Chuck Gill, who sadly passed away.

Chuck dedicated many years of his life to public service, earning the respect of colleagues, friends, and residents throughout Gloucester County. Chuck made history when he was elected Gloucester County Sheriff in 1994, reflecting the trust and confidence the public placed in him. His contributions to Gloucester County will not be forgotten.

Please join me in keeping Chuck's family, friends, and all who served alongside him in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Sheriff Chuck Gill. Thank you for your service, and your dedication to our community.
