5th and 6th grade band Spring concert

Yesterday Riddle Jr./Sr. High School represented well at the UCC skills competition.

☘️Layton Rainwater took 2nd in advanced stick welding and 3rd in advanced tig welding.
☘️Lilly George took 2nd in beginner stick welding.
☘️Austin Dean took 3rd in advanced mig welding.
☘️Bix Madsen took 2nd in advanced mig welding, 3rd in advanced torch cutting, and 4th in tap and die.
☘️Tristen Brantley took 5th in beginner torch cutting. ☘️Mat Fox took 2nd in tap and die and 1st place in drill bit sharpening without ever sharpening a drill bit before yesterday.

Community 101 is a grant program RHS Leadership Class partakes in. Our leadership class was awarded $7,500 to distribute to various organizations. The leadership class then chooses a specialty or classification of organizations they want to help fund. After advertising, organizations then apply for our grant. The leadership class then reviews applications and decides who to award grants to. Most of these funds go to non-profit organizations but a percentage is set aside for RHS club organizations.

This year RHS Leadership awarded grants to five RHS club organizations: PBS, Band, Arts, Science and On-Track Graduate Program and five community organizations including: Kids First, Klamath Advocacy Center, Peace at Home, CASA of Douglas County and SASS-Sexual Assault Support Services.
