Elwood Library District Elwood Carnegie Library The Elwood District Library is a Carnegie Library in Ridge Farm, Illinois. town to have a Carnegie library in operation at that time.

Established in 1910 with a $9,000 grant from the Andrew Carnegie Foundation, this library holds the distinction of being in the smallest U.S. Nestled at 104 North State Street, the library has been a cornerstone of the Ridge Farm community for over a century, offering residents access to knowledge and a place for gathering. Its enduring presence is a testament to the town’s commitment to education and community spirit.
