On Wednesday March 25, 2026, The Ridgefield Police Department conducted a joint motor vehicle enforcement detail with the Bergen County Sheriffs Office Traffic Unit. The focus of the enforcement was the Grand Avenue exit ramp from Rt 46 E and Commercial Motor Vehicle violations. The purposes of enforcement details like these is to Educate, Enforce, and Ensure safety within the Borough.

Mark your calendars! Our annual Ridgefield PD/Slocum Staff vs 8th Grade game is Tuesday March 31st at 6pm. Doors open at 5:40. $5 entry fee and all proceeds will be donated to the 8th Grade class. Can't wait to see you there!

**Attention Residents**

Alternate side parking is being enforced, even though street sweepers are not in operation. Alternate side parking allows the Borough to identify abandoned vehicles, schedule road repair, and allows for utility maintenance. Please make sure to comply with the posted alternate side parking signs. Thank you

Borough of Ridgefield – Weather Closure Notice

Due to the inclement weather, all Borough of Ridgefield offices will be closed tomorrow.

Please be advised that garbage WILL NOT be collected on the west side of town, and there will be NO white goods pickup tomorrow. Collection will resume on the next scheduled pickup day.

Alternate side of the street parking is NOT suspended for tomorrow, Monday, January 26th. This will allow the DPW to continue snow removal operations.

If you have an emergency, please call 911.
