The Ridgefield Library celebrated the opening in May 2014 of its new 21st century building, now open with collections, technology, programs and more for all ages. The purpose of the Library’s social media presence is to engage the Library community across platforms with updated, relevant, and meaningful content and maximize awareness of Library offerings. The Ridgefield Library welcomes comments,

posts, and messages from the community; and recognizes and respects differences of opinion. However, all comments, posts, and messages are monitored and the Ridgefield Library reserves the right to, but is not required to, remove any comment, post, or message that violates the Library’s Appropriate Library Use Policy, as determined by Library staff.

It's almost here, the last big weekend of the summer! The Ridgefield Library will be closed this Sunday, September 6th, and Monday, September 7th, for Labor Day.

⚡However, we will be OPEN during regular hours on Saturday, September 5th (9:00 am-5:00 pm). Make sure to stop by between 10:00 am and 3:00 pm for RidgeCon, our annual pop culture & fandom festival for all ages!⚡

Always a town favorite, the Ridgefield ArtWalk opens this Friday, August 21st. We are delighted to feature not one but TWO talented artists here at the Ridgefield Library!

🍷Artists' Reception Friday, August 21st, 5:00-8:00 pm
Drop in tomorrow to meet sculptors Brian McCarley and Andrew Graham at an Artist's Reception in our historic Morris Building. Wine & cheese will be served!
