An inspiring start to the NCOA Age + Action Conference as Founders Hall received a Programs of Excellence recognition from the National Council on Aging and the National Institute of Senior Centers.

The recognition highlights the work happening at Founders Hall to help redefine the 60+ experience through intentional branding, storytelling, education, wellness, creativity, and community engagement.

Thank you to Dianne Stone, Associate Director of Community Partnerships and Network Activation, for presenting the recognition on behalf of NCOA and NISC. We are honored to be part of the ongoing national conversation shaping the future of modern aging and look forward to the days ahead at the conference.

We’ve been nationally recognized by the National Council on Aging ( ) in the 2026 Programs of Excellence Awards for our work redefining the 60 plus experience.

This recognition reflects a shift we care deeply about, how aging is experienced, communicated, and embraced in today’s world.

At Founders Hall, aging is active, connected, and full of possibility.

Honored to be included among a select group of organizations shaping the future of modern aging.

Did you spot something you donated in these photos? Or better yet, did you take home a new treasure?

Second Story was a huge success. Items found new life in new homes, all supporting reuse, recycling, and Founders Hall. Together, we raised close to $10,000!

Thank you to our incredible donors, volunteers, and shoppers. We could not have done it without you.
