🐾Today, we recognize and thank our Animal Control Officer (ACO) Kris Zulkeski for his dedicated service to our department and the Ridgefield community as he moves on to new endeavors.

Throughout Kris' nearly ten years with us, he has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to animal welfare and public safety. His community-oriented approach, focus on education, and willingness to handle any situation he was called to, often under challenging and unpredictable circumstances, made Kris a tremendous asset to our department and the community we serve.

His tremendous work ethic, professionalism, and genuine dedication to helping both people and animals have not gone unnoticed. Whether responding to a call for service, assisting a resident, or educating the public, Kris consistently approached his responsibilities with compassion, determination, and a commitment to doing what was right.

We are grateful for all Kris has done for Ridgefield and the positive impact he has made on our community. On behalf of the entire department, we thank him for his service and wish him continued success. 🐾
