SCAM ALERT: The Board has received several phone calls today regarding callers who are identifying themselves as representatives of the Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners and who are contacting Mississippi Dentists regarding a disciplinary action.

The Mississippi State Board of Dental Examiners' staff will NEVER contact a Mississippi licensee to tell them they are "under investigation." Additionally, a legitimate call from Board staff will NEVER ask for you to pay a fee over the phone to avoid a disciplinary action.

PLEASE DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THESE CALLERS.

Your caller ID may even show "Mississippi Board of Dental Examiners." Regardless, do not provide them with any information over the phone.

Any Mississippi licensee may contact the Board's office if they have a concern about the legitimacy of a phone call received.

Only three more weeks for Dentists to renew their Mississippi Dental License(s). If you have not renewed, you need to do so before January 1, 2026. All non-renewed Dental Licenses, Dental Specialty Licenses, and Advanced Anesthesia Permits will VOID on January 1st.
