📣 Our First Pep Rally of the Year! 💙🩶

Last Tuesday, Old Town kicked off the school year with our first pep rally, and the Titan spirit was in full effect! 🎉 From our students and staff to our cheerleaders, band, and athletes, the energy in the gym was AMAZING!

Congratulations to Mrs. LaTonia Buchanan, our August Faculty Member of the Month! 🎉💙

Mrs. Buchanan is truly “Mrs. Everything.” She consistently goes above and beyond the scope of her responsibilities to help others and wears many hats without ever complaining. She is always helpful, supportive, and willing to step in wherever she is needed—with a sincere and heartfelt smile.

As the school year begins, Mrs. Buchanan has been instrumental in helping organize events, order supplies, and coordinate Chromebook and class fees. Her dedication and behind-the-scenes support help keep everything running smoothly, and we simply could not do it without her!

Mrs. Buchanan is a true hero and the GOAT! We are incredibly grateful for all that she does for our Titan family. Congratulations, Mrs. Buchanan! 👏💙✨

Mrs. Milner is an amazing teacher and team player who consistently goes above and beyond for her students and colleagues. She is dedicated to helping every student learn, understand, and succeed, often taking extra time to provide one-on-one support.

Known as the “mother of the hallway,” Mrs. Milner also makes sure our hall is welcoming, beautifully decorated, and that everyone feels special and celebrated. Her kindness, dedication, and willingness to help wherever needed make her an invaluable part of our Titan family!

We are excited to announce that Old Town has earned Beanstack’s Reading Culture Award — Igniter Badge! 🏆🔥

This recognition was awarded because 25% of our students have been logging their reading minutes in the Beanstack App! 💙📖
