Spotlight on YLC Crosby Parker
Crosby Parker, a senior at Gulfport High School, is serving as the Mississippi representative on the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s 2025 Youth Leadership Council (YLC).
Recently Crosby was promoting the Cooperative Principles by educating students about electric cooperatives. He was also spotted on stage at NRECA’s Regional Meeting, held in Biloxi, sharing the impact of the Cooperative Youth Leaders program to more than 800 cooperative leaders, representing seven states across the Southeast.
Crosby represented Coast Electric during the 2025 Cooperative Youth Leaders program, and as part of his YLC duties, he recently coordinated a service project with Coast Electric in celebration of Cooperative Month. He organized a visit between our linemen and students at West Elementary School to share what it means to power our communities.
