The Ridgeland Police Department is asking for your thoughts and prayers for one of our own, Cpl. Ryan Stacy.

On Sunday morning, April 26, 2026, Cpl. Stacy was involved in a serious crash along the Natchez Trace after his vehicle struck a fallen tree during severe weather that moved through central Mississippi. He had to be extricated from his vehicle and was transported to a local hospital, where he is currently being treated for serious injuries.

As Chief Brian Myers stated, “The Ridgeland PD family asks for your prayers for a speedy recovery for Ryan and prayers for his family during this difficult time.”

We ask our community to please keep Cpl. Stacy, his family, and his fellow officers in your thoughts and prayers as he faces a long road to recovery.
