So glad to have these fine folks using the park.

The Senior Junction held a picnic at Sandy Beach on Tuesday since their normal meeting place was being used for election day. They brought hoagies and made some side dishes and desserts. The weather was nice for most of it, though some heavy rain fell at one point.

🗑️ The Ridgway Area High School Globalization Club participated in a park cleanup, focusing on litter removal during the morning. We would like to acknowledge and thank all club members for their hard work, despite not having photos of the entire group. 🙂🛝

We recently replaced old wooden picnic tables with steel/plastic coated tables at the park.

Pavilions #2, #3 and #4 have all new tables.

Pavilion #1 received 8 new tables with the remainder of wooden tables being replaced in 2027.

Partnerships are key in development, land management, or use. Looking forward to the final stages of yet another recreational use in Ridgway.

After years of getting nowhere with the Forest Service, a Pennsylvania mountain bike club partnered with their local township to build trails—and that's what finally convinced the USFS to open up even more miles.
