🎉 WE’RE OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🎉

After everything our community has faced with the Gold Mountain Fire, we are incredibly grateful to announce that the Bachelor Syracuse Mine Tour is open and welcoming visitors again!

Mine tours are available seven days a week, with guided underground tours departing every hour from 9:00 AM through 4:00 PM. Walk-ins are always welcome, subject to availability, and online reservations are available for those who would like to plan ahead.

The Gold Mountain Fire caused damage, disruption, and a great deal of uncertainty, but it also showed us just how strong and supportive this community truly is. We cannot thank the firefighters, first responders, emergency crews, law enforcement officers, local businesses, residents, friends, and visitors enough for everything they have done.

The best way to support us as we recover is simply to come visit, take a tour, pan for gold, and experience an important piece of Ouray’s mining history. Every visitor helps our locally owned business continue moving forward.

Please note that the Miner’s Café remains temporarily closed due to wind damage to our tent. Breakfast service will return Friday, July 24, with regular café hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to the incredible firefighters, first responders, emergency crews, and everyone working tirelessly on the Gold Mountain Fire. What you have accomplished is nothing short of extraordinary. Because of your courage, determination, and countless hours of hard work, Lake Lenore, Panoramic Heights, and the Bachelor Syracuse Mine are still standing.

Watching all of you work under such difficult and dangerous conditions has been both humbling and inspiring. You have put yourselves in harm's way to protect our homes, our businesses, our history, and our community. There simply aren't words that can fully express the gratitude I feel for your sacrifice, your professionalism, and your unwavering commitment.

We're not out of the woods yet, but I have complete confidence in all of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you've done, everything you're doing, and everything you'll continue to do. You are the very best of our communities, and your courage and selflessness will never be forgotten.
