What does it take for Democrats to win (and come this close to winning) a school board election in a district like Ridley?
It takes great, hardworking candidates like Sarah Celona, Tom Reimann, John Praizner, and David Bernstein, who care about our schools, our residents, and who listen to what voters have to say.
It takes a whole team of dedicated volunteers to raise funds, knock on doors, make phone calls, and greet voters at the polls.
It takes engaged voters who come to the polls ready to make a difference with their vote, from across Ridley Township, Ridley Park Borough, and Eddystone.
And yesterday, we all made it happen.
Congratulations Sarah Celona and Tom Reimann! We are so excited about what your fresh perspectives, energy, and skills will bring to the Ridley School District!

The Ridley GOP has been sending voters text messages saying our school board candidates are radicals.
It’s too bad that in the Ridley School District the ideas that the school board should be fiscally responsible, transparent, and responsive are considered to be radical!

Here in the Ridley School District, our school taxes have gone up 25% since 2021. And our school board is so non-transparent, they delete the livestream of the school board meeting as soon as it’s over. We think we deserve better. Meet the candidates running to bring transparency, responsiveness, and fiscal responsibility to the Ridley School Board: Sarah Celona, Tom Reimann, John Praizner, and David Bernstein.

Dark-money groups are trying to steal our courts with deceptive mailers. Retention is about independence and performance — NOT partisanship. Vote YES to protect our courts.

On this dreary morning we are EXCITED to share that all of our candidates will be moving forward to the November election! Thank you to everyone who showed up and got out the vote!! We truly could not have done it without you!

To have a fighting chance we will need every bit of help we can get! If you are interested in getting involved, please, reach out. Every door knocked, every phone call made, and every dollar raised gets us closer to having a seat at the table!

Tomorrow, May 20, is the PA municipal primary election. Come out and vote for endorsed Democratic candidates at the state, county and local level, especially our endorsed Ridley School Board candidates!

Seriously, it’s lonely at some of the polls today- but you can vote up until 8pm, so stop by on your way home from work or on your way from running errands.
